Hope you've all had a good day. Hubby and me went on a local coastal walk. It's been a cloudy and windy day, ideal walking temperatures. We walked 17334 steps, 8 miles.
I was shocked to see the amount of seaweed on our local beach, the middle right hand x 2 photos, the sand has disappeared, shows the gales we've had.
Hope you've all had a good day.

Lovely photographs Alicia, everywhere looks like it's had a good watering after the storm. The air looks fresh. So glad you and your husband enjoyed a lengthy walk and such ideal conditions. ππ·π³
Thank you Bobby. It really was a very good walk and I was amazed at the amount of seaweed.πππ

Thank you so much for your kind words. If it was just bone thing causing it I think I would be able to cope but because it's all my conditions I'm finding it hard. Luckily I have a great support network of family and friends and of course all of you on here. I love you all to bits β₯οΈπ€ππ. Where's Bazzak with one of his many jokes?!? His grandchildren must have tired him out today π xxxx πβ₯οΈπ»π΅οΈ

You are welcome Lynne and I really do wish I could take it away. That's the problem isn't it, it's not just one thing and I can only imagine how hard it must be. A friend of mine has been like this for many years, she injured her back when she was a teenager and now has a myriad of other conditions on top. I do think you are amazing in how you deal with it. You would have thought there would have been a painkiller that could have been invented by now for those of you that suffer with severe pain. Bless you and it's great having everyone as one big family on here. Precisely, where is Bazzak, we need jokes ha ha.
Take care

Night night sweet dreams xxxx β€οΈπ€ ππβ£οΈ
My 1st cousin once removed (whose parents live on the farm wrong side of Dartmoor!) came for tea in garden yesterday with my little 2nd cousin (I think) and husband. Such a helpful 3 Yr old... What's this Dinana, he kept saying. Likes to know how things work. Think he will be an engineer!! π€£
Aren't children inquisitive, I love it when they are like that. Our son in law shows his eldest daughter who's 8 how things work. He's an electrician/engineer and also works with computers so has an avid interest in how things work. He'll be showing his youngest one soon on how things work as well, she's 4.

Yes, love it when they are like that too. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx β€οΈπ€ππ
I see what you mean cf. Incredible what weather can stir up. Lovely photos, thanks for sharing. Do you ever get any basking sharks along your coastline? xx
Thank you Dave. That's so sad and climate change is very sad as well. I really hope that once this pandemic is over (I know the virus will always be with us but I'm talking about when it's the norm) the powers that be and people start to take more of an interest in our planet and make a concerted effort on re-using and recycling.
Oh my goodness, that must have been quite a shock for you and I bet he wasn't too happy either.
Oh it's good to digress and I've just done that above, I think we all do it
I really hope things start to improve soon with the weather and fires.
Is this seaweed unusual? Or is this because of global warming Alicia? Apparently little bugs, like little flying beetles covered Scarborough beach I read in Yorkshire Live! Strange things are happening π€π€ππ
It's happened before but it was many many years ago now so I would say it's unusual. I've been where I am for over 40 years now and would say that this is only about the 3rd time it's happened. Oh my goodness, that really is strange in Scarborough, I can't imagine that.
It's incredible how changed a beach can look when it gets really strewn with seaweed after a storm. Sometimes tons of the stuff can come ashore! It shows the force of nature and puts us firmly in our place.
But glad you both enjoyed such a lovely walk. π

It really does Sue and it completely changes the look of the beach, I was very surprised to see how busy it was, particularly as the weather wasn't that warm either. Nature is definitely a force to be reckoned with for sure.
We did thank you.
Thank you Jerry and it really is, it's been many years since the beach looked like that.
There were spit and spots of rain but fortunately no heavy rain whilst walking, that's coming in this evening.
Lovely pics as always thank you for sharing Alicia, we have storm warnings for the next two days here in South Wales as I expect you have also, stay safe ~ Pamela and Little Paws xxxx
