I decided to do the Ironing, there IS quite a lot, so I Set Up The Ironing Board, brought in the Washing, the Hangers, the Cloathes Horse.... what did I forget? The Iron! I'm clearly 'Half An Owl'.... the 'TWIT' halfπŸ™„.

Saw a lovely mug the other day, I wanted to get for a friend, but had sold out. A pair of fluffy baby owls, mug called The Twits. If comes in again, will get it for her Xmas pressy.

I think Ironing can be relaxing in short burst. Very short burst, though. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

...and as long as someone else sets it all up, packs up when you are finished and puts it all away!! 🀣

Yay, Mydexter, that sounds like this household too! Hubby's a dab hand at ironing and does all his own. Mine are either done by him, or are 'smoothed' by hand! 😊

Don't have a Hubby to do mine anymore so buy no iron materials as much as possible, plus if hang up while still damp most creases fall out. Just got iroining up to date so no more for several months as I keep spares in case I cannot iron straight away. :)

Iron is a 4 letter word as far as I'm concerned! πŸ˜‰

I’m very impressed with you doing an ironing. My sister bought me an all singing all dancing very lightweight ironing board as a wedding present 7 years ago. Think I’ve only used it twice lol. When I worked I used to have to wear a uniform, I only ironed the front of the shirt lol, I wore a jacket or cardigan over it. My hubby was horrified at this and took over the ironing of all my shirts after that. He also irons his own clothes. I hate ironing with a passion. Only thing is when the ironing board comes out he never thinks to put it away, if I didn’t do it it would stay up for ever. But can’t complain he is so good to me. Happy ironing. X

I haven’t ironed in about 20 years , my feeling is that they get wrinkled anyway when you wear them so what’s the Point? πŸ™πŸ˜·
