Like nearly everyone I got up to find snow had fallen overnight, so been in, this morning got the ironing done, cleaned the floors this afternoon, in between just pottered around, tidied the kitchen a bit, the sun came out this afternoon and most of the snow has gone 😊🌈⛄STAY SAFE AND WELL

Are you shielding Jennymary?I went for another walk today! Watched breakfast news this morning, fed my birds outside, put some raisins out as well! They love that! Well now the blackbird troop is having a mad fly about and twitter around! Think they are arguing about their territory here! 3rd dusk they have done that 🤗😂😂😂😁 crackers 🤣

Lovely picture, no I'm not shielding, just not going out anymore than I need to, and today with the snow, there was no way I was going out 😊⛄
If I am careful I still will go for walks now whenever possible! If I lived in a big city, facemask and walk! I couldn't stand being locked in my small house 24/7! It doesn't do your mind any good unless you have to and then that would be different!
We had very dark clouds looming when we got up this morning but ours was rain as we live in the Westcountry and we rarely get snow. We've had a lot of rain today but some sun and it's been very cold. I've not done a lot to day. Spoke to our youngest on the phone and then spoke to a friend on the phone, had lunch and have been on the computer most of the afternoon researching recipes.

Hi. I just got back home from buying some groceries and bought the Sunday paper for my mom. My parents still like to get the Sunday newspaper.
Prayed then went for a sleigh ride. Here are some photos of the snow

Prepared some veggies for next weeks meals, watched Charlie and the chocolate factory, had a video call with my sister in law over Sunday lunch and after lunch tried a short walk outside along the main roads.
Had a wonderful walk in the snow with the dog whose orange ball kept on turning g into a snowball. She kept on eating g the snow and sticking her muzzle in it it was hilarious. Did some catching up with emails and now watching my beloved footie.
Can totally imagine your dog with the ball, had 3 labs and they loved snow ❤️❄️⛄

They're great dogs are Labradors but very greedy!

Not really if you train them right! Ours were great animals! Super companions! Snuggled round your feet when you didn't feel well or upset! Very sensitive dog breed! Best I ever had really! Good with kids too as had 4! Well now I can cherish the memories 🤗👌😃

It started snowing here just before one and just kept going. I did some cleaning and zoomed into church.
Then I kept my promise to my Greyhound Mr B and took him out to play in the snow after dark when nobody would be about. We have a good four to five inches on my lane but the bottom field was more like nine or ten.
He had a good gallop and did his spinning which he loves but I'm sorry to say he felt the need to water an enormous snowman.
We haven't had any decent snow for a couple of years so he had a brilliant time and is sleeping by the woodburner now!
Please don't judge me but I spent ten minutes reliving my childhood and made a little snowman. In the dark. 😂😂
Ah honestly, love that Ghounds! And why not make a Snowman ⛄ at least you had fun with your dog ❤️
Good for you for making a snowman , I text a friend earlier, she said she was bored, I asked if her and her partner had been out making snowmen, (their both in their seventies), but no they hadn't
Maybe it was childish but it was fun! As adults we give up on play but now and then I think it's good for you. Life can be too serious and a little dose of silly can lighten the load.
Sensible fun is never wrong Ghounds! But I don't like sillyness as then we behave out the f order! We used to have lots of fun as a family in the snow and now my kids have their own families and my youngest grandchild loves the Snow! He is just over 1 year old and was rolling a big Snow ball yesterday! Snowman looked great!⛄
Hi Jennymary, we had such a light dusting of snow here that there was a debate with my husband as to whether it was a heavy frost or a light snow! Had a quiet but really pleasant Sunday doing just crafting, snacking, napping and cooking dinner. Feels very lazy by comparison with your endeavours! Take care and stay safe too! ❄️🔆👍😊
