Well bit busier today than usual, popped to the shops and got a few things, took the slightly longer walk home, then this afternoon I sorted out the ironing, going for another short walk tomorrow while the weather is nice,

As far as exercise is concerned, I did a 3 minute plank immediately I got out of bed, a hour after breakfast I ran a 5K, in the afternoon I took my neighbours dog a walk, the reason for that is my neighbour has a slight heart problem so he asked me to take his dog Holly for a 30 minute walk.
That sounds pretty good. Lots of exercise.
Did you hear about he 62 year old doing an eight hour plank? Ex Maine.
There was a competition between an American Ex Marine and a Chinese policeman, the 62 year old Ex Marine did 8 hours, the Chinese a few minutes more, so the Chinese man won that plank challenge, other plank challenges have seen a 15 year old American girl with a disability going for about 80 minutes and a 73 year old lady doing a plank for just over half a hour a year after she almost died of something, the longest plank I have done is 7 minutes, that was a few years ago, I doubt lf I could do it now for that long as I have been doing the 3 minute planks and feel that 3 minutes is long enough for me.
Been driven up the wall by IT. I am having to work from home on a laptop, when I’m used to a desktop one with two screens, an ergonomic keyboard and a rollerball. As if that’s not hard enough my laptop has not been set up properly and I am constantly having to contact the IT department to sort things out. Doesn’t help that our firm got taken over in the midst of this crisis and the programme they use is a more up to date version of the one we’re used to. Thank god I’ve got my cats to keep me company, although all they seem to have done today is sleep!
Settling in for a nice relaxing evening now. Hubby has just gone off to do the shopping so hopefully bringing home something extremely yummy for me 😜

Hi Jennymary, I guess it was probably nice to be busy again. Passes time more quickly. It was a glorious day to be out and about, that's for sure. Good idea to take advantage of it while you can.
I've had a relaxing day today. I seemed to have plenty of time, so I set up my sewing machine which has been out for days waiting, and did some essential mending tasks. That's a nice little pile of clothes I can now wear again. I feel quite smug! My husband's home again for the next 4 days, having just finished his 4 nights rostered on duty. That's part pleasure, part pain, as I do like some time to do exactly as I please and this apartment feels awfully small sometimes! 😀
Take care Jennymary and enjoy your evening.
Hi Jennymary, sounds like you have had a productive day. I've walked the dogs, mind you, I do this every day, so nothing new there, my dog Pip though, he is getting exceptionally good at walking without nearly pulling my shoulder out of it's socket. When we got him, we didn't know how big he would grow and he is very strong but he makes my day. Hope you are having a very pleasant evening. xx
That's great to hear you've been busier. I've been into the city centre to get myself some buckwheat flour as I cannot tolerate wheat nor can I eat my homemade GF bread as I react to the almonds.
Here's to the lovely weather again tomorrow.
Stay safe.

Today was garden and greenhouse day.
Interrupted by lost dogs killing a deer, finding the family to an Alzheimer-ish nice mom, and helping a neighbor who fell off a ladder with a chainsaw and broke several ribs.
Knocked his wife off the ladder also. Rude of him. Lucky the chainsaw didn’t do any damage.
All we wanted was a peaceful day. Well, maybe tomorrow will be good.
It is beer and bread making day. What could possibly go wrong with that?
