I have not got any of 3 symptoms to access a Covid19 test, am feeling not myself. I went out twice over wkend and so enjoyed the experience of a coffee and chat. I wore a mask and kept to strict to contact. I’m informed by 119 that I can’t be tested but I’m anxious to see my family just in case! How long do l have to wait till I wait for one of the 3 ? I’m certainly not sure if I am infected but I’m not knowing what to do. Any advice out there for me please?

If you think you have the virus = sore throat, cough, temp of 101.4 call you Dr. she what s/he can suggest. Take good care like you have been, good luck, love n hugs.......
Personally speaking I would ring either your doctor or 111 and say how you are feeling or even say you aren't quite feeling yourself so could you have the test. Not everyone gets the same symptoms although the high temp, sore throat, cough and losing your sense of smell/taste are the common ones it doesn't mean that you'll definitely get them.
Take care and I do hope you feel better very soon.
Hi Alicia, I am grateful for the advice, I was not feeling any better and so because I was getting anxious I booked in for a Covid19 test last night for today. My son in law took me 11-00am this morning, and I am so grateful to Andy and the army guys who were so helpful and well organized I am feeling somewhat better but I’m gonna wait 24-48hr results for the results. My great concern is a bubble with immediate family and I am hoping that I am clear so I can see family using mask and whatever is recommended.
I am glad to say that I was looked after very well , I’ll stay isolated til I get the results! I’m hoping that you are doing ok, 😊
You are welcome and I'm so glad that you've now had the test, it's better to be safe. If it comes back clear maybe your anxious in some way which would be no surprise under the current circumstances.
I'm thinking of you and hoping it comes back clear.
Take care
Alicia xx
Hi Sunfloweronline, I wouldn't preempt having C19 on the basis that you went out and socialised a little. You did it safely and if you were out as recently as the weekend past, it would be very early to be having symptoms. I'd try to relax and not worry too much and just see how things go over the next few days. There are many other reasons for feeling a little bit under the weather. 🙏
Hi callenders I attended Covid19 test today, I am feeling somewhat better but am grateful to be able to find out for sure. I’m on my own and finding the forum a blessing to be able to share my concerns
