I really like this. I've been trying to practice some skies but I just can't get them right. They are getting better. Your colours blend so lovely.. 😊

HI Brent_Wilson, this is one of the loveliest that you've shared with us so far. That sky is incredibly expressive. I'd be proud to hang that in my home. Do you display your own work at home, or even better, somewhere else where it can be fully admired? 👍🙏

Many thanks for your kind comment, Callendersgal. I started painting last January, as a form of therapy. I am learning as I go along, while trying to find my own style. The paintings sit in a pile atop my piano, nowadays rarely played, some destined to be firelighters next winter. So, they are not displayed either in our home or elsewhere. I do occasionally leaf through them, however, admiring those with which I am pleased, and reminding myself to learn from those that I deem failures. That you would like to have this one on your wall is encouragement indeed.

I think you've absolutely 'found your style'. And it's lovely! Please, do, find some way of exhibiting, when you can, even those you deem to be failures, and don't consign any to becoming firelighters without really long consideration. (Just think of the way the art world gets excited when it finds a very minor piece of work by an old Master!) I hope you will carry though your plan to sell some of your work, either on Etsy or in some other way! It deserves a wider audience. 🙏
