I had the same feelings this morning. Had an Asda delivery which had been booked for nearly 2 weeks! I checked yesterday and about 10 items had been removed which wasnt bad. I was to scared to log back in though later in case it had all gone 😂

In my case it's an Asda delivery. I do know that there are 8 substitutions and 10 things completely missing and it's £25 less than the original estimate. I'm finally going to have to use up my frozen artichoke hearts, endamame beans, okra and pomegranate seeds, not to mention the bags of rice flour and chick pea flour...

I've had to order brown lentils and chick peas from Biona (very expensive) and they seem to be taking an age to get here.

I know what you mean, this way you get to try new things 😉

Iceland use to have about 5 different time slots now they only have 2 ,Sainsbury's said they had slots for the old ,can't find that at all

lol. How much stuff did you order? How many does it have to feed? How long for? Please let us know how it went. This is nail biting info.

Better to have lots than not enough.

I had to queue to get into Morrison's this morning to get some bits and pieces I needed and decided that I won't be going to supermarkets unless I am really in need of anything from now on.

To be fair I did get everything I needed and it was pretty well stocked in there better than sainsburys last week where the freezers were more or less empty and there was hardly any fruit and veg around!

Queuing to get in is annoying but at least its fair!

I think you should be fine with your online order.

If anything from what I have read lol

I tried to post on the Covid chat line but it seems to have got lost. Iceland are doing home deliveries only for the vulnerable and elderly, you just have to tick the red box when you sign in. I got a delivery within thirty six hours and only one substitution. Wouldn't be my supermarket of choice under normal circs , their range is very limited, but fruit and veg seem good and fresh and I got my chosen milk. Good for the basics - though of course you won't have the excitement of seeing what does turn up!

I find Iceland are great for things like milk and fresh things if you just want a couple of things.

Haha, that's the attitude LozzieC! Like waiting to see what you got for Christmas! Always look on the bright side of life! Take care, stay safe, and I hope you got all you needed in that Tesco delivery. Take care and stay safe.

I agree Lozzie, I too am waiting for one. I'm rather miffed with Tesco though. They should be offering Priority slots for Over 70s and those with Immune problems, but I'm having to go down to them because I can't get slots at all. It's taken 10 days just to get the one that's coming tonight!

Cheers, Midori
