I have tried to get a little festive and I have a picture of my alternative Christmas tree
It is simple but as I see it every day I do not it’s see effect

I'm well at the minute thank you, if a bit confused about what the future holds for all of us after these strange times we've lived through this year, Christmas will be quiet for us this year, we just have to be thankful that we have a warm place to be, we won't go hungry and we can all keep in touch on here, you won't be alone we'll all still be here xx

I am doing well. Of course, in an ideal world, things would be better. But I'm learning to appreciate what I currently have and that has been bringing me cheeriness in this time of isolation
I am really loving all of the Christmas posts that people are making, showing their beautiful decorations, so I thank you for sharing as well 😊

That's very pretty Roukaya. A Christmas tree doesn't necessarily always need to be Christmas tree shaped!

Hello I love that I always used to few of those shiny flowers in a vase, my mam has a similar display she put some lights in with hers last year, my mam also has another alterative tree it's sopose to be outdoors it's just a branch that forks out it's not real it's white but it's inside it lights up it's in one room my tree from my house is in the other, when I was in my own I just had a small optic fibre tree on the hearth and a little vase with the shiny flowers, I'm so please you've shown us this I hope you get more involved in here and maby take some photos if you go on a walk and you won't feel so alone knowing you'll be seeing something nice and have us to share it with and it will bring you like minded friends if you see something you think is nice, I never used to post about myself at first I didn't know anyone then I sent pixie my cat on a post as he looked cute and then I send my park views and before long I had like-minded friends I never expected I'd get friends that I feel are tru friends from a internet sight, hope you have a nice day 🌟xx

Hello thank you been creative is helpful I think this could be the way forward for you as you obviously have a nack and I hope you will go out and take some nice photos of things you see like a nice flower tree or sky I know it's not a good season but there are lots of good things out there we often just don't notice, I'm posting later I'm just sorting a few things out and I'm sure my next post will help you I need to get the photos together take care 🌟xx

yes too much clutter in our home for anything big and need all the floor space for getting round with my walker but I have a small one on the living room dresser that I bring out every year and 'decorate' with all the little memories I have collected over the years. As everyone with ataxia knows all too well, especially if you live with a loved one, life is full of compromises and, if you dont let things go, you will suffer with stress. I try to 'decorate' tastefully and keep things nice but hey ... my husband decided the metal in my garland was interfering with the modem and the connection was being interrupted so he, quite unceremoniously, 'pulled it down' so it is now back in wicker hamper with rolls of wrapping paper .. actually it looks quite good LOL ... internet provider is checking with engineer about the 'pauses' .. it's weird as it only happens on two devices .. mine of course so I have swapped my laptop with Ken's spare. It has a back slash key between z and shift which drives me bonkers... hey ho .. xxx

Not yet; I'm hoping someone will come and give my son a hand to shift the sofa to the other side of the living room, then I'll be able to do it properly.
I've done some decorating, tinsel and coloured lights around my plants in the bay window, but that's it so far. I only decorate the living room.

It's lovely. I know I don't feel like decorating this year, but the main reason is I lost my little dog, Lucy, and just can't bear to see the decorations and her Christmas stocking. I did order a Christmas decoration to send to family and give to neighbors and friends. You should look it up on Dot.com. It was voted the Christmas decoration of the year. After you see it you'll understand why. Here's looking to the New Year. Take care and be safe. Maggie
