Not much done today, but I might go for a cycle later.

It sounds like you have been busy today with a lot of house hold chores. It's good to keep busy during the day.
My day has been going well. I had breakfast and lunch, did some text messages with friends, went on HU and did some replies and private messages, listened to some music on my radio, then watched the news during lunch. I plan to do some reading later today and before bed. I will check to see what is for dinner and then create the word scramble puzzles for the next morning. I also will watch some TV before bed.

Sounds like you got a fair bit done today Jennymary. It was dull here to start but is much better now with the sun out and apart from one shower it's stayed dry here all day.
I went to the DIY store with hubby this morning and then at around 11:30 decided I wanted to get on my bike so have had a lovely cycle ride late morning/afternoon, I was out for about 3 hours, it was lovely.

Walked to the shop this morning to get some bread and milk, been job hunting, on future learn and a walk this afternoon as well to blow the cobwebs off as I missed yesterdays walk.
Well there can't have been much time in which you could have gone out Jennymary. Sounds like you had quite a busy day. Same here really with weather with rain this morning but now the clouds blowing away and some evening sun.
I really wasn't feeling up to going out today and my lovely husband went out and shopped for me, so I was able to just indulge myself for most of the day until it was time to prepare the evening meal, in time to wave him off on the first of his next 4 night shifts! Have a lovely evening! 👍😊🙏

My daughter and granddaughter came by today. My daughter trimmed my hair, it's quite longish and needed a good trim. She did a year in hair dressing college when she was younger, until she decided she didn't like it , so she can cut straight. It's been raining here. Did the chores. Apart from walking the hounds, I've stayed at home today. 😊🌼
Today was mellow for us.
Did my work out, pickled and canned a bunch of zucchini, walked the dogs, planned some tree thinning so the solar panels will get more sun, and helped make a truly awful Russian Salmon pie for dinner.
Lucky thing we had chips and salsa as a back up.
Don’t ever make salmon pie. No one should unless you have a lot of vodka available.

We are locking down again for the independence weekend. Beaches closed, nothing is supposed to happen indoors, shops and pubs closed, no large gatherings, and the like.
The virus didn’t go away just because we stayed inside for awhile, it’s still out here floating around.
Be mindful of your safety.
Our freezer stopped working so we had to throw out lots of food. Managed to rescue several dozen sausages. We cooked them and have been giving them out to local doggies on their walks near our house. Put a note on Facebook and we have had callers at the door coming for their dog sausages!
