That's good, at least you have something sorted out till you are well enough to go back to work. Now, you pay taxes and national insurance, you are entitled to benefits and sick pay. You will go back to work when you are ready. Have a great weekend and relax. ๐๐
Well it was an achievement to figure out the universal credit system so well done you. Iโm glad you got something out of it. Poor you catching Covid must have been scary. Enjoy your chinese when you get paid!
(Also I agree to only get SSP isnโt very fair ๐คจ)

Hi Picklepickle, You sound really positive for someone who is having to face financial adversity because of the pandemic. It's certainly turned a lot of people's lives upside down, including yours from the sound of it.
You don't have to feel it's wrong to to accept what little government help that's on offer. This is a crisis and you need to survive it. Just keep focusing on your chinese meal and your leg wax. Better times will come again for you, I'm sure. Take care and I hope you have a good day today.๐๐
Well done on getting some money coming in, hope the meeting with your boss goes well next week, best wishes for when you return to work, and enjoy your Chinese, I expect it'll be the nicest one you've ever had after what you've been through ๐
