I am relieved. I know the variants are also out there, and with only 15% of our area vaccinated (and folks not that careful) I realize I need to stay the course with cautious behavior. But it's nice to think this reduced the chance of it taking me out. I had a flu bout last January that actually came closer than I'd like to doing that... so I remain careful, especially as I have at least one friend whose overactive immune situation makes the shot currently problematic for him.
