I miss my long walks and chatting to people and going for a coffee at Age Uk
in Lincoln and seeing the friendly staff. The photo is the sunrise on my favourite holiday destination Costa del Sol

What a lovely photo. I think people are starting to feel the same as you as it’s quite a while now with little social interaction. I hope you’re age UK group opens up soon. Especially with this lovely weather maybe sitting outside would be an option?
I was eating at Age Concern lunch clubs 2 or 3 times a week - and I do miss the company.
Most of the clients are vulnerable as well as elderly - so these meetings might not start up again for months - or not until we have a vaccine.
Isn't that a stunning photo 1-8-1? I think it is the very ordinary bits of life we miss most. Going on holiday and doing the big things are always treats, but every day we look for little things that give us pleasure and now many of those have been curtailed for a while. It's challenging to stay cheerful and engaged, but those times will return if you can just manage to hang in there. 🙏
That photo was taken the day before i left Spain because of the virus and lockdown so it remines me every day how lucky my friend and i was to get back to England without catching the virus going through the airport for the plane home.Very scary experience.
1-8-1 so very lucky you were and how scary! Blessed you did not contract. I so miss seeing my grand children just had one born yesterday 1000 miles away can not jump on a plane to she her. Can not risk her health the drive would still put me t rish- public restrooms. We have thought of buying a motor home thought of flying for me is a high health risk. we have so many free flight miles from business we can not use. I feel tramped did fly before all over now all things have changed. My other grand kids are only 20 minutes away they do not believe in social distance- can not risk! So many things even a grocery store we call our food into the house from the grocery.
