That is tragic, you must be devastated and in a state of shock. I'm so sorry.
I am so sorry that you have had such terrible news. I will say a prayer for you and all of those affected.
Sorry to hear that buddy. I keep thinking every day about life, how fragile it is and I get really annoyed with myself when I'm filled with anxiety and worry. It goes to show it's not worth it. Every day is precious. Keep safe x
Sorry to read of this terribly tragic news for all concerned, sending condolences to you and all your ex work mates family's and friends
We all worked at a tyre factory called Michelin and had some real banter , just didn't see it coming I will try and get to the funerals some how to pay my respects. Clive x
I'm so sorry to hear that Longsider. What a nasty shock for you. Condolences to you and their families. xx
I'm so sorry to hear that Longsider. The news must have hit you very hard. My deepest condolences. 🙏
How dreadful for you, I nearly lost my sister thank heavens she survived.
So sorry to hear this . Sending you a big hug
I'm sorry to hear that and its a right shock isn't it when it happens without any kind of warning!
That’s awful Clive, so sorry.
So sorry that is awful. Thinking of you big hugs⏱🧼
I'm so sorry Clive, this must have been a terrible shock. My heart goes out to you and all their family and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Thinking of you all. Lynne
I offer you my condolences, this must have come as a dreadful shock and probably sat you on your heels.
I am mourning the recent loss of my father in law and still finding it hard to believe so for you this must be even more unbelievable.
As said before, we really should treasure each day because we never know what is round the corner.
I hope that you can move forward from this painful time and if you cannot get to the funerals perhaps you can pay your respect in your own way.
I am a shielded along with my son and we were unable to attend the funeral so we stayed home lit a candle and said goodbye in our own way.
Perhaps it will be possible for you to attend the funerals because some restrictions are lifting but respect comes from inside so if it is not possible maybe you can write a short note to the families of your friends saying how much you enjoyed working with them.
I am sure that would be appreciated.
Take care
Ellie
So sorry for your loss. That must be really hard to deal with. I hope you have someone to talk to and share your grief with. x
From the Virus? You didn’t say
Really feel for you. One death is hard but 3 at once is very cruel. I lost 2 friends quickly, complications of old age, but their funerals were just as lockdown started so unable to go. Also another couple of weeks ago due to virus. She was in a care home. Did feel sad as couldn’t go to funerals so just spent time thinking more about them. Writing your memories to their families is a good idea. Unfortunately many can’t say goodbye due to this virus. Main thing is to keep yourself safe. ❤️🙏
Sorry what a coincidence 🙏
I lost my best friend a couple of weeks ago, not corona. That was bad enough, can’t imagine three. Wishing you peace of mind x
How terrible and so dreadfully sad. I'm so very sorry. Stay safe and take care. ♥️♥️
Sorry to hear of the loss of your Friends Longsider. Guess you maybe from the Midlands with the Mitchelin being mentioned. I worked at a company for 20 years in Wolverhampton. 4 of us used to keep in touch But thats dwindled to 1 now sadly. I know live in Staffordshire Hope you get to pay your respects A d keep safe Brian
Hi Brian, I am from Lancashire and we worked in Burnley Michelin factory for 20 years good set of lads and we have reunion's every two years to catch up . Clive
Obviously got more factories than i realised. I know they had 1 in Stoke on Trent. Thought you was more local. I worked at Goodyears in Wolverhampton For 7 yrs
I know them both been down to Stoke a lot but unfortunately the French thought they could churn out tyres cheaper in third world countries . I worked in triangle department . Did you work with benzine or carbon black they are slow killers that get into your body.
No i did not work with those Materials, But know of there dangers. I used to work on Tractor Tyres at Goodyears. Big heavy things they were. Hope your keeping as well as possible Brian
Kind thoughts to you at this difficult time.
So sorry to hear this😢
So sorry to hear this news and so tragic... I'm not being sarcastic but they say 'everything happens in three's'; I cannot believe this and feel for you!
Oh dear sorry to hear such sad news. Condolences to you and their families. Its hard at moment as may not be able to attend funerals though may be able to via video link as i did with friends, one of my neighbours died few days ago so thats my 3 in a row now hopefully no more for either of us
I am soooo sorry for the loss of your work comrades. I don't want to attend another virtual funeral, but I am grateful for my mom, dad, and the rest of my loved ones who are still here. Remember the laughter, and banter from each of your comrades. I hope this will help to get you through this challenging time. I send you virtual hugs from at least 10 feet away. God bless you
