Thank you Kamilla22, you've beaten me to it. Just heard this on our BBC1 news this morning and was about to share it, thanks for your post. I'm so excited, after 10 weeks of being indoors, and I can't believe I'm even feeling nervous about the idea of venturing out, but really finally this is great news. Continue to be safe!
Just take baby steps regarding going outside. I did at first as I am a mild risk asthmatic but I just followed the rules when I was confident enough to. I was doing a bit of research on COVID-19 for my book I am thinking of writing and this caught my attention as I have a friend inside and thought I would share the post for everyone to see
Yes, good advice as I'm high risk asthmatic and other underlying health conditions. One step, of each day at a time.
Wear a mask if it helps you feel more comfortable and gloves. But take baby steps in this situation. Supermarkets have cleaning stations for trolley's and basket's. If that helps and of course plz stay safe
It's such good news Hidden . I have a friend who's daughter has been shielding as she has severe JIA (Juvenile idiopathic Arthritis), she's 16 and she'll now be able to go out. I'm so very pleased for her and all the others like her.
Alicia 🌈😊
Please advise your friends daughter to take baby steps like I had advised LawH1512 just to get their confidence up in this unusual situation we have been thrown into.
Thank you Hidden . Fortunately my friend's daughter is very mature and has already spoken about this.
This is a very strange situation and one that not any of us would have guessed would happen.
Take care and stay safe.
Alicia🙏🌈😊
I am spending 95% of my time in lockdown. I just sharing my personal experience with how I got through personal experience with facing COVID-19.
That's really good and well done as it's not easy but it will reap rewards and benefits.
My friend's daughter has been easing some of the pain with long warm baths. It's hard when it's someone so young. My 4 year old granddaughter also has JIA but she has mainly Uveitus which affects her eyes and sight, she's done amazingly well for a 4 year old.
Stay safe and well.
Alicia🌈😊
So sorry to hear that about your family issues. Hopefully the amazing medical team can help them as they have been saved from an influx of COVID-19 patients thanks to the lockdown. Of course my heart goes out to the people's family who unfortunately lost a loved one in this horrible crisis.
Thank you Hidden , I appreciate your concern. My granddaughter is doing very well and the NHS have been amazing, they've saved her sight.
My heart goes out to those that have lost loved ones, not only is it awful to lose a loved one but also the fact that they can only have certain members of the family at a funeral.
May this be over soon and that we learn a lot and change the way we live, there was far too much consumerism and the planet has been suffering.
Stay safe and well.
Alicia🌈☀️⚘🌷
Personally I believe mother nature did this to make us listen. I am pleased to hear that the amazing NHS have helped your granddaughter's sight
I couldn't agree with you more, we need to take stock and listen.
They are amazing and her treatment is going incredibly well.🙏🌈💜
For the amazing NHS I have called on my MP to fight for a pay rise for them and he agrees that they deserve it
Yes they really do🌈🌷☀️
I hope they get it as deserve it
They certainly do🌈🙏
Nothing regarding this outbreak or death rate has changed. I'm not taking a blind bit of notice as to what this 'deathwish' government wants us to do.
Does not mean you don't go out for a walk early evening when it is quite but I still think it is nice that people who are shielding are allowed back out. But it is up to the individual.
Well considering ever since that arse Cumming took a little 'trip' around where I live has become incredibly busy and thus dangerous for folk like me, day or night. It's insane!
