Well I have to say my hands aren't as strong as they used to be as I found the mixing a little hard and that's too many years of using a keyboard.π
Oh most definitely, we have to do what we are able to do whilst we can, we don't know what's around the corner. I love my bike, as if you hadn't guessed ππ
Lovely pictures, your energy knows no bounds. A bike ride, meeting friends, mixing sand and cement and I bet you did all the chores before you left and had a great meal on the go when you got back. You are a marvel and inspiration to us all. xx
Thank you Bobby. I went on a bike ride before meeting my friends so I could do a few miles. Ah, hmm, didn't do the chores beforehand, we did the housework yesterday ha ha. We had an easy dinner tonight, poached eggs for hubby and cream of carrot and parsnip soup for me, homemade of course.
Thank you Ali. No Jeff is making a stand to sit our bins on. We've been widening the drive at the front but had to stop as we couldn't get the sand or cold tar but I managed to get some on Saturday, just waiting for settled weather now.
Aren't us women good at mixing sand and cement.π
That's a very good profession, I love to watch dancing and gymnastics,I do love exercise though ie. power walking and bike.

My Mum taught ballet, she loved it!! Got some lovely photos if her doing ballet. I did go to ballet but then the place shut down and there weren't as many dance schools then. I went to ballroom and the lady retired!! I got a bronze in that!! No more ballroom classes anywhere!! My niece now teaches ballet. All 3 of my nieces went as little girls but Ellie carried it on!! I'm so pleased she has carried it on, following in my Mum's footsteps. I am also thrilled that she has carried it on!! My Mum was lovely as was my Dad. My Mum never made me feel bad that I was more into football.
I still enjoy watching ballet and ballroom but my first love is football, I wanted to go because my brother went and then at the age of 6 my Dad let me join my brother and I went watching football!!! I loved it!! We went to watch Oldham as there was hardly any trouble there,(not enough fans to cause trouble) . My Dad liked Man Utd but Oldham was his first team!! We left my Mum in peace every other Saturday afternoon, I think she quietly enjoyed it, she was able to do her own thing for a few hours! I used to follow my Mum around the house, no wonder she enjoyed those Saturday afternoons!!! Sorry, I went off on a tangent again!!! Thank you for reading this. Lots and lots of love and hugs Lynne β€οΈππ€π xxxx

I went to ballet classes when I was a child but was never any good at it. Well done on the ballroom, I do love ballroom dancing and love Strictly Come Dancing. How lovely that your nieces went to ballet and one now teaches it, that's an accolade to your mum. Nothing wrong with girls liking football at all.
Personally I do not like football, I'd much rather watching dancing. That was good that your dad allowed you to go and watch football as years ago girls and boys sports were just that and didn't cross but now if a girl plays football it's perfectly normal.
Take care Lynne xxxx
