Hi everyone, happy Thursday! I hope you are having some sunshine like we are having here in London.
This week I will share another creation from my lovely husband. We were given the cookbook SIMPLE by Yotam Ottolenghi as a birthday present and we absolutely love creating meals from it. The recipes have many middle eastern ingredients and some are quite difficult to find - so maybe not the best to try a complex one when grocery shopping is still a bit limited, but I would highly recommend having a browse through and seeing if there's anything you're interested in.
This week my husband made a combination of 3 recipes - Semolina gnocchi romana, ricotta and oregano meatballs and a fresh salad of cucumber, yogurt and nigella seeds. It was the perfect treat to start off our week and we were able to have it for leftover dinner the following evening. We were surprised with the gnocchi as we had never made it this way before with semolina!
What is everyone else cooking or baking this week? Do you have any nice plans (food or otherwise) for the long weekend?
Hope you are all staying healthy and safe!
