Self employment grant scheme

Hi, I hope everyone is well?

I managed to do my Self employment Coronavirus grant today. For anyone else who needs to do this I felt it was straight forward and easy to complete. I had to wait a while as they only let a certain amount of people on to the system at any time but the page automatically refreshes and then enters on to the page when it’s your turn. I felt the amount of money I am going to receive is about right to cover the three months of lost wages.

Anyway that’s the boring stuff .....on a more important note. I made these cookies today 😋

Hi Ali! I'm really glad to hear that you were able to apply for your grant! That is fantastic news I really hope the rest of the process is straight forward and finishes in a quick amount of time! Also your cookies look INCREDIBLE. That has inspired me to do some baking as I haven't done as much as usual this week.

Glad you’re all okay. My cat willow has found so much pleasure in a hair band she found on the ground haha. I bought her a laser pen which she loves. Ping pong balls that she didn’t really get in to when all the time she would have been happy with a simple elastic hair band! Glad baby is still ruling the roost!

Thanks for sharing that information Agoodenough. I'm glad you got through with your claim, and that it was easy. That will probably set some minds at rest that it can be accomplished easily, and that you are going to receive a reasonable amount.

Thank you. Yes I was hoping to put people's minds at rest. My partners slot is Saturday so we will see what they say about him and what he will get. Enjoy your evening 🙂
