Good morning happy Saturday I hope that your has been wonderful. .I have a confession I am addicted to my moms lemon meringue pie 😂😂 I can’t stop thinking about it . so instead of eating heavenly goodness I eat raspberry yoghurt for breakfast. 😂 because I don’t like American breakfast 😂😂. I either drink tea or coffee with milk with some cookies the Algerian way .

I love lemon meringue pie too and coconut cream pie too. I’m American and often eat yogurt for breakfast but today I had chai and peanut butter cookies!

Was delicious! Ordered bag of the chai for myself for Christmas and I made the peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips for Christmas. I’m not generally a fan of big breakfasts just something small usually with fruit juice which I skipped this morning!
Lucky you i don’t celebrate Christmas so yesterday watched some anime 🤣 .
In Algeria where my parents came from they would always drink tea or coffee with milk with cookies ❤️. I have tried eggs but I don’t like them 😂 I like them with Mayo or coleslaw
Well I'm not surprised as I've seen a photo of it when you shared it and why not😋.
You only normally eat a small breakfast so an indulgent treat every now and again, nothing wrong with that🤗😉💜💜

❤️ I remember on my birthday i showed a photo of something that i ate for my birthday ❤️ I miss eating that too 😂 oh boy on Ramadan mom is going to spoil my siblings with dessert 😂❤️
My breakfast is generally a bowl of cereal(Shredded Wheat, malted) ..... and a cup of tea with milk..... oh! and nine different tablets of medication.... what a lovely mixture! 😀

My favorite meal is chicken fried steak with EXTRA gravy, potatoes, eggs and wheat toast. It's so much food that I can't eat for the rest of the day, and it's not very healthy so I only have it one day a year. Today was that day ☺️ Now please excuse me while I slip into a food coma... 😴😅

Hi, Hb2003, I'd say if you are an adult, enjoy whatever "floats your boat breakfast wise" if it doesn't harm you.
Both my parents grew up on a farm and my mom insisted on a large country breakfast each morning. I had no appetite early in the morning and it was dreadful duty to face that heavily laden table before we were all off to work and school. I still prefer brunch over breakfast and that can be most anything from yogurt to smoothie to the traditional to leftovers from the night before or an early lunch. Pies and cakes are yummie whatever the time of day!
Can still remember how impressed and awed I was in high school to learn that a friend had a bowl of Campbell's Chicken and Rice soup each breakfast....Sounded totally Exotic to me! lol

I have been a good girl today though. No chocolate. Only dates. But they are very high in sugar. No fat though😊🐰

Yes they are. But they are very expensive here. I like fresh dates when I can get them . I have found them only on one market in London.most dates we have are dried.
