Coping with outside pressures and anxiety

I write often in this post for support and understanding

I find that when I deal with challenges I seem to become very anxious and mentally tired

I took a respite from Ramadan today and I will start again tomorrow

I see that I am trying to obtain financial compensation concerning the tenants deposit concerning damage and neglect to my property

I seem to have neglected my career aspirations even though I would like to work in Wills and Probate one day

I wonder if anyone has anything to say

Question, Does your practice of Ramadan help or hinder you mental and physical state?

Thank you for reply

The Ramadan fasting is prescribed ad being necessary but due to the long hours I observe a few days and take a days rest and recommence

Fasting does impact on the mental and physical wellbeing and this is why I took a days respite to start again tomorrow

I also have anxiety issues which impact on my ability to pass the Wills and Probate Exam which I have been trying for three years and now I find myself fighting for my own letting agent to listen to my concerns as a result of damage and neglect caused to my property

I hope you are safe and well

Thank you for replying to my posts

Keep going. The letting agent has a legal obligation to return enough of the deposit to cover the damage.

I am a legal graduate even though I passed twenty years ago plus I have previously managed a property portfolio based in Derby and now I find myself having to justify the damage and neglect caused by the former tenants

I have been negotiating since Monday and unless we can reach an agreeable resolution I will take the matter to the Tenancy Dispute Adjudicator

I hope you are keeping well

Good for you. I worked in criminal law many years ago. I'm well thank you.

I mean well done for not giving up and for planning to go to the Adjudicator if you don't get anywhere with the agent.

I thank you for your reply

I think 🤔 what I can’t seem to understand is why the agent seems to marginalise what I have to say despite justification I can add

Thank you for reply and I will keep on trying

Can you provide photographic evidence of the damage or invite the agent to carry out an inspection? Socially distanced of course!

Thanks for reply

I have an Inventory and the Check in Report and Check out Report

I have all the reports and photographic evidence concerning the the condition of the property as a result of the tenants neglect and damage caused to the interior as well as house hold appliances

I have submitted yet again my claims and if the tenants disagree I have asked for the Deposit to be refered to the Independent Adjudicator

The property was newly decorated and I had new white goods installed at the start of the Tenancy

The manager is stating I should have done a Professional clean but I am disputing this given the newly decorated state of the flat when the tenants first moved in

Thanks for your suggestions

It means about your resilience for taking the matter to adjudicator if unsolved, fasting is the best thing a human being can do

Take care

It was probably a good thing to take a short break from your fast today, especially if you are feeling tired and anxious.

There are times when the best charity you can do is for yourself.

It is tough to go for a full month not eating or drinking during daylight, and you are not well, not a good combination, and allowed for in the teachings.

Treat yourself gently, especially in this time of pandemic.

Cheers, Midori

How are you

I hope you will be able to sort out your home once the Lock Down restrictions are reduced.

I have started fasting again and I try to do what I can
