I have tried the Soda Buckwheat bread today and I'm looking forward to trying it. I'm not that keen on Buckwheat but it's the only grain I can get at present that I can eat as I'm GF but cannot eat GF bread as it either has yeast it in or nuts. I normally make Spelt sourdough which I love but cannot find Spelt for love or money at present.
I added some cinnamon to this bread as I love the flavour of it and hope that it's enhanced the loaf. I was naughty and added a little more sugar than the recipe said but only about a tablespoon.

Hi Jerry
Thank you and yes it has quite a distinctive flavour.
No I haven't and I didn't think about ground rice, I use that for making shortbread for my hubby, I could sub the almond for ground rice possibly, worth a try. You really are the king of GF baking Jerry.😊😋
I've got some GF flour in the cupboard ready to use.
I love cinnamon so just tipped it in, you never know, if you don't try you won't know.
Have a good rest of the day.😊
You are welcome Jerry, you are very good at creations. Handy having a coffee grinder I grind oats to make oat flour often, much cheaper to do it like that. I've not thought of quinoa flour, that's a good one to make, I could do that for homemade burgers.
Oh he loves his shortbread.😋😉
BTW, I've tried the bread and the added cinnamon has made a different and it tastes better, I'll continue to do that.😊
