I’ve been literally at home now since 24 March, the only time I have left my home is to take my dog for a walk, but I’m starting to let this get to me now, I mean, one minute I’m happy, cracking jokes and what not, but then I go all miserable and bitter to the point where I get critical of things. I have tried keeping positive all of the time, but then I feel miserable and wanting to cry all of the time. I’m banning myself from posting on social media as I feel that it making a negative impact, but will keep as I would like to know how my family are. But other than that I can’t wait for all of this to be over.

We all get times when we feel fed up with life!

I was fed up last Tuesday myself but soon felt better once I had been outside as I only go outside for food an exercise myself.

It does you good to have a good cry as its a blow when you are looking forward to things and then told its off at the last minute!

I’m going to going into my 3rd week on Tuesday, I am grateful really because I have my mum, dad and dog so I have company, but I’ve lost my job, I miss my friends and my emotions are all over the place, I miss my routines as they’ve all been blown out of proportion so I’m going to find myself little jobs to do and try and keep myself busy..

Of course you are grateful but it doesn't mean you have no right to feel fed up about things as its a right blow to lose your job.

I think you will find that the majority of people are feeling or have felt exactly how you are feeling. I had a meltdown about two weeks ago, when I realised that we will run out of money. My partner is self employed, and his business has almost dried up. No idea what we will do for money, as I only did casual work and that has finished. The government says they will help us, but we will have to wait until June, before we will see anything. Now I am taking everyday as it comes. The dog still needs walking, and we have an allotment where we can go and hide for a couple of hours. It is very scary out there, and I know some people have not realised the huge scale of this. So to keep my sanity, I find different jobs to do everyday, and hope that other people are being sensible so not to spoil it for us all. Take care everyone, be safe. x

I haven’t had a meltdown for a couple of days now, I think the weather is motivating me to go out and help in the garden and go on long walks with the dog, but I’ve come off posting on social media and not watching the news as I do not think that, that is helping me. I’ve done 2 days, I am still on social media, but only so I know that my family and friends are ok, plus we have a really good community page on Facebook and they’ve been putting on things to try and cheer people up - like a Britain’s got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing and pub quizzes, which I think is brilliant - can’t forget the art competition either as some of the submissions are amazing!! But other than that - I don’t want to hear or watch anything or read anything to do with the virus unless there is anything which is absolutely important.
