Yay, we had our hair cut today, I can now see without my hair getting in the way. My lovely hairdresser contacted me back in March and gave me an appointment on the first day which we were both really pleased about.
I thought I'd walk to the hairdressers and as normal, took the long way round and left hubby driving the car there, it's an hour's fast walk but if I didn't take the long way round it would be about 3/4 of an hour.
I got a bit wet on the way home as we've had a few hail/rain showers today and it's been quite cold. I walked 8.8 miles and got home in time to make hubby a jam sponge before lunch.
I hope you like the photos and that you are all having a lovely day. Bottom right photo is where I just about managed to take a photo of a Pheasant without it escaping.
Keep safe and warm.

Hi Alicia they are lovely photos but where's you hair hope not had too much off π€―ππI'm having my lay down now π΄πβ

Thank you Mandy. I've kept the length with my hair, it's the fringe that needed a desperate trim as it was getting in my eyes.
Enjoy your lay down.ππππΉπ·π

Hi Jerry
So are we, our lovely hairdresser whom we've been with since she was 21, she's 43 now, sent me a message a couple of weeks ago with a slot she'd booked for us, we feel so much better now our hair is sorted. Thank you, it was a lovely walk although I did get hail/rain on me when I wasn't far from home and that shower was cold. Hubby is very happy to have a jam sponge, his favourite.
Thank you Jerry. The sun has been out more this afternoon and out of the wind it's fine but that wind is cold and I agree a few degrees warmer would definitely be appreciated.
Have a lovely evening.

Great photos, Alicia. You were lucky to get a photo of the pheasant before it escaped. Good that you managed to have your hair done so quickly after re-opening.
I hope your husband enjoyed the jam sponge. Have a good evening ππ·πΈ
Thank you. Definitely, Pheasants normally evade me but not this time. Our hairdresser has been doing our hair since she was 21, she's now 43 and thought if us as soon as the date of opening was released, she's so lovely.
Well let's say hubby enjoyed his fresh slice tonight, rest in the freezer.
Thank you Don, oh I'm exactly the same with footpaths, I like winding footpaths rather than straight ones ππ
You were very lucky to get your hair cut already Alicia. My hairdresser's not back to work until next week and I'm so looking forward to my appointment. I bet you do feel better for it. Some lovely photos but I can see from the skies that rain was threatening. Some great pics and another satisfying walk!

Yes I was very pleased Sue. Our hairdresser is more like a friend, she's so lovely and yes I do feel much better as my fringe is no longer bothering me. I'm glad you have your appointment next week, you'll feel so much better for it Sue.
It was great to have a walk as well but yes agree, the sky was very threatening and when it came down it was cold.
Productive day and lucky hubby! π Beautician for me, then bread making day. Yippee. Tomorrow going to a friend for coffee to sit in summer house with doors open. Had a phone call from Devon last night but I was on video link to Scotland!
Good for you getting in your walk even in the cold rain. I bet you look wonderful with your haircut but did before haircut too!π€I imagine when you say fringe we would say βbangsβ ??
Have a lovely day and pics are great as usual. I e had my adventure for today! β€οΈπΊπΈπππ·
Thank you and I was determined to walk even though by the afternoon the weather had improved greatly. Oh it's so much better not having a long fringe hitting me in the eyes. Bangs, possibly but I'm not sureπ€
