What will you do during Saturday lockdown, is it any different than before?

Same routine so no stress here. Last season for me consisted of keeping minimal mingling in places where I could catch a cold & worsen my respiratory symptoms. So believing the wintertime has been extended some is fine with me. My precancerous days never involved getting cabin fever or having an overwhelming desire to travel a lot. Being a strong homebound person sure helps. Presently, I continue to read & read self chosen topics, communicate with others thru most media means & pray fervently. Wishing everyone the best in our community. Stay safe. This too shall pass.

Errrrmmm no, I'd be watching TV answering post on HU. lol xx

I had to think what day it is then, it’s 9.20pm here in England so my Saturday is almost over, I’ve spent most of my day painting ( no surprise there). I’ve been painting a native red indian and he didn’t make it easy for me because his nose was a problem 🙄 To be honest my days are not much different now than they were before.

What part of the world do you live in? and what are your plans for the day?

You are allowed out for exercise once a day, so this morning I ran a 5K near to where I live, there were very people around, a few dog walkers and I saw five other runners

Hello Thehandyman

M-m-m-m, lets see my wife works at a hospital and this is her day off. Next week she may have to work with CV-19 patients so she will be moving to another house we have. They shut down the department she was working in. I am going to be alone and will make this the best Saturday I can for a while. :) Blessings.

I hope you both have an amazing time together until your wife moves into your other house..

Enjoy it to the max and take care :)

Thank God for your wife, and all of those front line workers who are sacrificing so much for us all. May God keep her safe Amen XoXoXo

I have been dating a man for a few weeks. He works in a small office in Oregon away from any hot spots and is careful. Half the staff is working from home. Saturday used to be the day to go places as I just moved her 2 months ago. Now he brings dinner here and we talk then watch a movie. I treated us to the Invisible Man last night. Definitely made us jump a few times. And that's what we will do until it's warmer and not raining as much.

That sounds good :)

Thankfully, we are blessed to have 20 acres to roam. The majority is pasture but there are a few wooded areas, good for Morel mushroom hunting! I have been fortunate enough to find four.

I ran into a man in the woods last year with a sack of mushrooms. He was on my property but stated that he found most of them in his woods. I believe that the man bamboozled me because I walked back there this year to see where his property joins mine only to discover that he really doesn't have any woods! This part of the property runs behind a housing addition. We rarely go into the woods back in this section. I can see how the neighbors may think that this is some sort of community property. I don't mind the kids playing there. There is evidence that they do. I just don't like anyone picking my mushrooms!!

Bottom line is that I am blessed to be able to get out of the house and still stay home.

You are lucky, that sounds like a great place to live.

Yes, The handyman, we are blessed. Haha, my wife had to come find me last night because I had taken my clippers and was clearing sticker bushes and limbs from the deer paths so that I could walk them easily. I had left my cell phone in my Jeep and she couldn't reach me. she had become worried, knowing that I have had bouts with passing out (vagal episodes). I hate to worry her. It is still just a little early for mushrooms but I am getting prepared.

I couldn't imagine being cooped up in an apartment during this COVID-19. I would certain go nuts (or nuttier).

We all need to get outside i think or we would all go nuts... I wonder how long until people start to lose it, this could go on for a long time yet.

Stay safe, both you and your wife.

I saw that, if they let the virus run its course by not isolating, will it die out quicker.

I wonder.
