In the last few days there have been some lovely pet pictures posted within our community, and I think it's a certainty many pets have played a big part in helping to get us through the coronavirus crisis, especially those who have had to face social isolation alone.
So today's quote is in honour of our pets.
In fact, I've got two for you, simply because most people seem to opt to comment on either cats or dogs.
"Dogs never bite me. Only humans". - Marilyn Monroe-
"The smallest feline is a masterpiece" -Leonardo da Vinci-
I think all pets can bring great comfort in all sorts of situations, and when you are all alone and feeling blue a pet can bring that warm comfort which just says "I'm here for you."
So enjoy your day today and I hope that all our pets, of any kind, have a good day too.

Thank you Callendersgal, yes all our dearest furry friends are indeed beyond everything else we may own, without them where would we be, completely lost in this very mixed up world, especially now with COVID-19.
I wish all Healthunlocked members a safe and peaceful weekend, not forgetting our wonderful furry companions.
I love the picture and the quotes, pets really do become an important part of the family. They just love you so much. So in return, you have to do the same. 🐕🐱
Hi Callendersgal, you are certainly right about how our pets can comfort us in these lockdown time's . I certainly miss my Molly being by my side but I take comfort in knowing that she is at my side in spirit for everything that I did for her on the earth plane. x

Yes Longsider, they all remain in our hearts forever! 🙏
Great quotes!! Worth their weight in gold and precious companions to us humans, I am a dog person usually of the rescue variety, currently have my third dog from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, a house isn't a home for me without a dog - let alone in recent times when I quickly found myself in the shielded group so home alone since early March - I think the "rescue" is now me rescued from the effects of isolation by a cute pickle from Battersea!!
There's a black and white cat that lives next door to us with a white bib and white paws called socks who is like the cat in the picture!
So very true, pets bring so much joy. When I was in my 20's I lost a baby whilst 6 months pregnant and our two cats were such a comfort to me taking me through that very difficult time. Animals sensehow you're feeling.
