Hi everyone,
My quotation today is in honour of all our US members who are celebrating Independence Day today.
Sometimes National pride can manifest in the wrong way, but in terms of belonging to a nation that fought bravely for its independence, celebrating that day should be a matter of great pride.
Who better to choose for my quotation than John Adams, statesman, attorney, diplomat, writer, and Founding Father of the USA who served as the second president of the United States, from 1797 to 1801. (Wikipedia)
"If national pride is ever justifiable or excusable, it is when it springs, not from power or riches, but from conviction of national innocence, information and benevolence."
Blessings to all Americans and a happy day to everyone!
