I went grocery shopping this afternoon, got some fresh salmon. So tonight dinner is served: Kung Pao spaghetti with Salmon and a little Rum&coke for a beautiful Saturday night.

Good morning that looks a lovely taisty an healthy meal I couldn't eat 2 pieces tho I'd but I could give one to my pixiebob havnt had salmon for ages exept out tin I used to like it done in bit lemon and herbs too in over with tin foil love to try yours tho have a good day xx

Thank you that was my tea looks a bit like a dog's dinner lol pixie got some of the tinned steak out the pie I only eat meat in pie never lamb or pork I love fish but I like the tang that salmon has toned down by the lemon and herb pan fried is good tho we use cold pressed rapseed oil for everything even pastry never hard fat take care enjoy your day hugs from us pixie is a right character for sure 😊😸🐆xxx

It is very low in saturated fat which blocks the arteries causing high cholesterol why don't you join the food site I'm on there as if most of your meals are like that I think.it would be beneficial to healthy eaters I put a lot of chips on too as I cook them first in microwave then lightly fry in frying pan in the special oil I am trying to put weight on too but it's hard when I watch the sat fat on food labels take care pixies too fat tho 🐆😸xx

Hi Sue I never used to like salmon until I tried in lemon and bit water with mixed herbs or organo with foil on in oven it takes that strange flavour away I took a liking to pan fried in cold pressed rapseed oil I love red tin salmon weird how taistes completely different I have got 2 tins left think will have sandwhices for lunch pixie got them on his shopping trip think there for him so I'll give him some 😸🐆😊🌟have a good night I can't wait to go to bed early and not come on here at all tonight 😊xx

Hi Mandy, for your suggestions about cooking salmon. I'll certainly give those a go. I used to love it and it was only after fifteen or so years of vegetarianism that I found it was one of those things I didn't find too great on becoming an omnivore again. Oooh... Pixie's going to be very happy with his treat! 😺

Good morning sue I was a vegetarian most my life I eat chicken now then if at mam's always eat fish and this year meat pie mam's home made made with cold pressed rapseed oil as hard fat pastry is leathal as mam has 2 stents in her heart arteries and I worry about it happening to me I used to make pies with vegetable lard and my chestrol was 5 its Now 4.3 safe, I love cod haddock tin tuna salmon I don't eat seafood lobsters is so cruel don't eat lamb or pork I only eat meat again as I fancied it as my health wasn't good early last year my iron was low and my white cell count and one of my liver counts was high I was been monitored by doctor I mentioned this in my post about alcohol cut down I remember you read it, I had tin steak in mam's pie last night I felt funny and sickly at thought of it as I saw some like fleshy skin costing on it I gave pixie most of the meat I don't think I'll be eating meat again it was first lockdown we got some tins from farmfoods and everytime we go we get some and we were enjoying mam's pies lol this is a pixie pie lol not yet launched from bazzaks bakery top secret 😁😸have a nice day xx mam said the meat smells nice and if we ran out could make a pie with it lol,I'm only joking pixie doesn't eat pie 😁
