I hope you've all had a good day and it's not been too wet.
We had a dry morning here in Devon albeit it was foggy and cloudy. I decided to go into the city centre on my bike as I needed some birthday cards and an anniversary card. I knew we were due rain so I got in there by 09:00 and was back home by around 11:00. I then thought I'd do the weekly shop and it was still dry - bonus. The rain started off lightly at around 13:30 and by 15:00 it was very heavy and it's still going, it's supposed to be like this all night. I dread what the drains are going to be like.
Please can we have the sun back, the gardens are well watered.
I've got no photos from my ride as I didn't want to hang around just in case it started raining.
I cycled a shade under 21 miles.
Have a lovely evening.
Take care and stay safe.

What a lovely ride out. I dashed around this morning before the rain which never came. There was a very light shower when I was out with Teddi but so warm π next week looks like a scorcher btw ππ
Thank you, it was Ali, I was so pleased to be able to get out, I'd be lost without my bike. Oh our rain certainly came and it's still raining now, not due to stop until around dawn, I'll be swimming, not cycling at this rateπ
I'm so glad you got out with Teddi, your sidekickπ, bless.
Yay, can't wait to see the sun and feel heat.ππβοΈπ.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Thank you Lynne, I was so pleased to get out and get the weekly shop done as well before the rain.
Great you got your bike ride in before the heavy rain came. It's been very heavy here all day and just about stopped. Looks like it may start again though. Let's hope the sun is not far behind. ππ
Thank you Jerry. Yes we are nearly at the longest day, I hope it's bright that day. I know, typical it was lovely during lockdown, I feel for those that have been shielding, at least I got out a lot. The ground was dusty then, there's a few puddles now.
No we can't control the weather but we can control how we deal with it.
You must be glued to that bike π€£π΄ββοΈ. Great mileage and all done before the rain. In my part of Scotland we've had lots of sunshine but I believe that's to change tomorrow. Rain might not be great cycling weather but its brilliant running weather, I think so anyway. π
Hi Alicia, I don't blame you for doing a quick whizz of your round trip to get home ahead of the rain. It was good that you were at least able to get out there. π
