No letter yet. On a positive note my friend had Sainsburys contact her to arrange an essential food delivery. She lives alone but I wondered how Sainsburys knew a ) she was vulnerable and b ) she was alone???? Well done Sainsburys anyway. Not happening in our area to my knowledge

Got mine on Monday apparently they will arrive by Thursday. I rarely ever go out except medical appointments and occasionally with my Mum, but since getting the letter I have been obsessed with going out in a forest and touching trees and grass. I guess its like wanting cheesecake when on a diet lol. Stay safe and well welshlady52 hugs xx

Doesn't help that the weather is so gorgeous. I live in north London and have a bus going past my house that takes me to Hampstead Heath in 15 minutes and is very tempting...

Hi no I haven't received a letter but I got a text from the gov saying I had been identified as being high risk. My GP surgery called to ask if I had received a letter as they have a list of high risk patients that should have recieved letters but haven't. Had post today still nothing so you are not alone. Keep safe xx

No letter yet either. Denise that’s very good that Sainsbury’s contacted that lady let’s hope it happens more often. If anyone is self isolating and able to get online shopping please let them know, on ASDA you put it in the address book special instructions. Hopefully when they see that you are they will prioritise those orders.

I didn't receive a letter, but I did receive a text. I had breast cancer last year and am on targeted treatment, so I think the cancer centre made sure I got the message quickly. I have had a further 3 texts in relation to being in the at risk group and one to the general population.

Hi

No letter but my Dr has told me to self isolate. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

I got a letter on Thursday and have had several texts and a call from the local authority to ask if I needed help and gave me a number to ring if I need help. My neighbours are helping me with shopping as my daughters both live some distance away.

Hi

That's lovely, that you have people who you can call on. . I have a great support network of family and friends and of course everyone on the forum. We have one son still at home who is working from home , he has been a Godsend, hubby is a key worker, I took ill health retirement in June 2018. I haven't had a letter but my own GP has told me to self isolate for 12 weeks as I have more than one underlying condition. . Love and hugs Lynne xxxx 😘

It’s great news that your son is with you. At least you have some company. I sadly lost my husband to bowel cancer 8 years ago so have lived alone since then, which is why it’s important that my neighbours are helping me. I understand that the NHS have only issued 900,000 letters so far so perhaps you’ll be in the next batch to be sent out.

Take care and stay safe. Rita xxx
