Oh, this reminds me of being at my dad’s house. He used to have peanuts out in bird feeders. He had a big picture window close to the dining table. If the bird feeder was empty, a squirrel would come to the window and watch him eating his lunch. He would ask me to fill the bird feeder because the squirrel was putting him of his food. ( It made him feel guilty for eating.)
Thank you for reviving that memory for me.
