A cycle ride for a change

β€’18 Replies

Hi all

Hope you've all had a good day. I've been out on my bike today to deliver a friend's 40th birthday present. We've had stunning weather here again today.

This afternoon I had a short walk with hubby. Top right photo is two lambs cuddling together.

I cycled 20.443 miles.

Take care and enjoy your afternoon/evening.

Whooppeee.. Back on bike and beautiful weather. My Miss Molly's lambs aren't due till April. We are late starters here with the Wiltshire Horn. My cousins on wrong side of Dartmoor say weather been so wet with them. Heavy frosts here but wonderfully sunny in day. Great for hubby's digging!!

Yes it's great to be on it, can't wait for the footpath/cycle track to the Moors to dry up so I can get back on it.

That'll be so lovely when your Miss Molky gives birth.

Such a shame that it's been so wet for your cousin.

It's been frosty here but glorious the past few days in the daytime, beautiful blue skies and plenty of sun.

I'm off to clean my bike this afternoon as it definitely needs it.

Spring lambs! Another great way to feel glad to be alive. Those two look adorable. Sounds and looks like a lovely walk!

Went out on my first bike ride on new rather large bike -a Trek FS2 . Quite hard to master gears and a bit saddle sore . Not rode for 45 years . A bit wobbly and scary

in reply to focused1

I love my Trek bike, wouldn't be without it. Well done on getting out on a bike after all those years, that's amazing.πŸ‘πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ˜Š

Getting used to it . Need to be a gymnast to get on it .

I doubt you'll take long to get used to it. Yesitcan be tricky getting on a bike, particularly when you haven't been on one for a whileπŸ‘πŸŒˆπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ

Aww...little lambs eat ivy and a kid will eat ivy too! And mares eat oats....that’s all I remember of that song.....old timers setting in!Beautiful day for you to ride 20 miles! 🌈❣️😊
