I guessed I would be one of 12 week isolation people and got my text yesterday! In preparation I bought knitting wool and baby patterns. I haven’t knitted since my girls were babies. But finding it so therapeutic. I retired after 30 years in NHS last year because of my diagnosis, so am keeping busy knitting tiny hats for the neonatal units at our hospitals where I go for my treatment. It also keeps my hands from my face!!
I live alone with only family, my two girls, working hard down in London we speak every day and on Saturday total surprise when they knocked on my back window with plants for me to get busy in the garden in the coming weeks - it was very emotional but I am staying positive, I have already outlived my poor prognosis so going to stay safe at this difficult time for us all. Stay safe everyone xxxx
