Sorry I haven't been round

Sorry I have not been here much. I have just been busy helping a friend get back on his feet after a hospital stay and unfortunately caughting COVID-19 twice and beating it twice. I find it heart breaking that he had it twice but he was in the best place going if he took the turn for the worst. I done everything I could for his safety as much as mine when he come out of hospital to make sure we both are safe. Shame so many people have passed away but they will not be forgotten, I thought my friend was going to be one of them. Hopefully the government will do something to ensure they will be remembered after this crisis is over

How awful to have this terrible virus twice, I am very glad your friend has recovered from these episodes. He must be very glad to have you around helping him out. It is a tragedy that so many have been lost to this virus but hopefully we can see a decrease now, in cases but still have to remain vigilant and careful. I am sure those who lost their lives will be remembered. Nice to see you back. 😊🌼

I have been reading some countries are getting a second wave of COVID-19. I hope the UK doesn't get it but if we do then we know how to re act and it will be faster the next time

There’s some talk about a second wave of the virus coming later this year out here in the USA. I hope everyone will follow rules so this doesn’t happen.

Yes, we will be prepared but hopefully, it won't happen here if we are all careful and mindful, it's still out there. 😊🌻

He is recovering well, he has carers to assist him more than I can. I just helped out while he was waiting for his carers. Unfortunately I have a medical condition which means I can not do as much as I would like for him so I am grateful for him having carers and I can still help out but most of the work is carried out by the professional's

Hi Kamilla22, good to hear from you again. How awful for your friend to suffer covid19 twice. What a lucky man to manage to survive it twice and how good for him to have you as a friend to help him. Wishing you both all the best and hope that he'll make a complete and quick recovery now. 🙏

My friend had it twice when no one realized it was Corona virus. He started feeling really bad with fever, chills, nausea on Dec 30, 2019. This was the first year he didn't go to a New Years Eve party since finishing college some 25 years ago. He is a former college football offensive end. He didn't get out of bed for a week, and was throwing up, and had diarrhea, chills, and fever. He told me he mustered enough strength to drive to see his Dr after suffering for 2 weeks, and taking over the counter medicine in his cabinet. After taking a prescription of Tami-flu, and antibiotics for a respiratory infection. He was fine in 4- 5 days, and had started to eat some soft solid food. He went outside and was enjoying being out. Well 5 days later he was very sick again. He was weak, he was throwing up, had diarrhea, and high fever, along with chills, and coughing. After 10 days of suffering again he mustered the strength to go to the Dr again. He was given a second dose of Tami-flu, and another dose of antibiotics to kill another respiratory infection. He didn't get better, and returned again to the Dr., and was given another dose of Tami-flu, a respiratory inhaler and another stronger antibiotic. My friend was sick for almost 2, and a half months, excluding 5 days. He lost 35 pounds, and was finally fully recovered by march 7th. I surmised he had the virus. They never tested him for Corona Virus then, but now they see he has the Corona virus antibodies. I am so happy my friend survived this virus twice, and that I didn't have to go to another virtual funeral. I am trying to convince him to donate his blood, especially because he has the rarest blood type, and his antibodies may be able to help someone else. I want people to really take all of the precautions necessary. It is better to be as safe as possible, than sorry.

Hi Kamilla

I'm so sorry your friend has had this awful virus twice but so pleased he had you as friend to watch over and help him. I'm so pleased he's on the mend.
