I had a few things to get in the City Centre today so cycled in. I also phoned and ordered some cold pasties (they're pasties from the day before so they sell them at half price) from a local bakery for my hubby, if there's one thing I despise making it's pasties.
It was fairly busy but I was able to easily keep away from people as they were fairly spread out.
I took the long way home along a country road above the coast.
I cycled 26.259 miles.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day.
Stay safe and well.

Like you Alicia, I don't care for pasty making but I don't mind eating them. Bet the ones you buy are delish, even though you can't eat them yourself, and I bet hubby really enjoys them. You had a great cycle ride and took some great pics!

It's a laborious task Sue, I never intend to make them again. My hubby loves the ones from the bakery and they're so reasonably priced.
Hi Alicia, You obviously enjoy and benefit so much from being on your bike. I always enjoy seeing your photos which you share with us but I have recently been wondering how and when you took up cycling. Was it a family thing or did your interest develop later on? One other thing; is your bike an electric bike? So many people have taken up cycling since last years lockdown and continue to enjoy doing it. Towns and cities are encouraging this by making more and more cycle lanes to encourage people to use their cars less and to encourage a healthier lifestyle. I'm all for this greener way of life and hope with more electric cars and more people using bikes is just the beginning.Cheers, Chrys x
I do love my bike. I started cycling as a teenager and the only time I stopped was when our girls were very young, it wasn't easy then. My dad used to cycle a lot as of course there weren't the cars on the road then.
It's not an electric bike but I have seen many people out on the electric ones. They are great for those that aren't so good with normal bikes.
There are a lit more people on bikes and I'm with you on that, the more bikes and electric cars the better I say.
Thank you Chrys.

Fantastic cycling Alicia. Tomorrow I drive 12 miles (no cycling)! for a cream tea in a young friend's open Corona Cartshed built in first lockdown. Very safe, 5 of us. Lovely weather too all week nr Cambridge ππ
Ooh I love the sound of the day you're going to have, sounds bliss to me, it's great we can meet up again and makes it even better when the weather is good.
