So as promised Jerry this is where I’m at with the tiny hats - all wool that friends let me have these will be going to neonatal units at Leicester General and Leicester Royal Hospitals. I can’t volunteer as on 12 week isolation - this keeps me busy and doing a little bit to help. I finished 30yrs last year because of diagnosis and felt really bereft that I wasn’t there to help. Stay safe everyone! We are helping NHS by staying home❤️

You are certainly doing more than your bit Elt. There are many ways we can help and you have found a lovely way of helping, through your skill. I find it so uplifting just looking at your work. I'm picturing all those little, tiny babies who will benefit from your kindness and skill.
Keep knitting and keep safe,
Chrys x
Hi Elt79,
Those are amazing, and not only are they beautiful but poignant as they remind us of all those tiny souls being born into such a dangerous world in crisis. I wish them all well, and I am sure those tiny hats will do so much good. Thanks for the great work you are doing in using a talent to be so helpful for so many. Take care and please stay safe and well.
Hats off to you, what a great job you are doing for the neonatal unit, they must be so grateful for your efforts. 👏👏👏
Bless you - it is therapeutic for me too x
That’s amazing. Well done. My daughter was a nicu baby and I can tell you every bit of support really helps carry those mums and babies through. She’s beside me now and just chirped up “she’s kind”. She’s a big girl now, but when she was born the first thing she wore was a tiny little hat knitted by someone like you. ❤️ A million kisses from both of us xx ❤️
Aww. they are so sweet.
