Easter Greetings

Easter comes but once a year

and then it comes again.

The treat of hunting eggs was dear

unless it chose to rain.

There's so much chocolate everywhere

It makes one rather queasy

A favourite one's Ferer Rocher

it made the rhyme quite easy.

For those on diets or diabetic

It really is a pain

Such tempting treats makes one frenetic

so sadly you refrain

It's lambing time up on our farm

and the weather's fine

Trees are greening in this balm

The springtime is divine

So cheer up if you're feeling low

there's lots to make you smile.

Whatever ails you we all know

you'll go that extra mile.

Love it. I sent my niece and her children Hotel Chocolat for Easter and she thought they were scammers when they came to deliver, so they went away again!!
