Hastings and Rye Support Group meeting

Happy New Year to everybody, and let’s hope 2025 is kind to us all.

The next meeting of the Hastings and Rye PMRGCA Support Group is on Friday 3rd January 2025 starting at 2.30pm at the Hub on Rye Hill. This is the first time we are meeting at a venue in Rye in order to encourage people who will not brave Hastings.

Rye is accessible by bus and train or private car, with adequate parking at the Hub on Rye Hill. If arriving by train or bus there is a community bus service or if you let me know I can fetch you from the Station.

A fish and chip lunch is served at the Hub on Rye Hill every Friday and is well attended so our meeting will start slightly later then usual. Go early if you fancy fish and chips, I can vouch for it being excellent.

That sounds wonderful! I'd come early too, if it wasn't 270 miles! That's probably as far as you drove the other day - hope you're recovering and you have a successful meeting.

So would I but it is even further!!! Even I won't do that - even for fab fish and chips!!!

Well actually I called there today with flyers to promote our meeting on Friday and they are so quiet this week they aren’t doing fish and chips this Friday, shame. Tea, coffee and cake only, but that’s ok. Look like we might have the place to ourselves.
