I’m highly delighted to find this new group and will be going to the first meeting. Anyone else?

Contact your surgeries, there will be LOTS more people that are not on the forum.

I contacted Candy re the Whitstable meeting, and PMRGCAUK contact with the local emergency centre, which covers various surgeries, has revealed HUNDREDS!

On my profile the nearest people are two hundred miles away. I don't think anyone would drive that far do you?

I have some medical church friends who are very good to me also.

When this has come up before it's been suggested that someone needs to start it. Very hard for many of us. But you have a Dr and some have rheumies so perhaps ask if you can put a flyer up in the surgery or for Dr to pass to other patients. Just meet for coffee. I will sit here in UK ...😂😂😂😉

You can’t see Big Ben currently, it’s wrapped up in scaffolding.

(Being pedantic, you never can see Big Ben. That’s the nickname for the Great Bell. The tower was previously called The Clock Tower, but changed to Elizabeth Tower in 2012 to mark QEII’s Diamond Jubilee)

Frankly you’d be considered weird if you said you were going to see the Elizabeth Tower! EVERYONE calls it Big Ben.

So it could be Big Beth now.

Good one! But I doubt we’ll be swayed from BBen.
