Forgot if I took my prednisone!

I had a family crisis earlier this morning, was distracted and don’t know if I took my prednisone . I take 10 in the morning and 10 at night…. Not sure what to do. Do I take another 10 ? Or just go back to normal tomorrow?

Probably be best to take another[?] dose and have a good day, rather than just hope you took it and have rough day.

Many in here use a dosette box to avoid this happening - available on Am**on if not from local pharmacy.

Yeah… I’ve never forgotten one before, but I do have a pill box. Maybe I should give it a try if it happens again… ty !

I always used to sort out a week at time.. usually on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

I originally started using one when late hubby was very ill and I had to make sure all tablets were taken at correct time.

You soon get into the habit…and you know you’ve taken what you should have..😊

I would opt for another dose as it will lead to a good day. Do you find that a split dose works well? My dose taken altogether in the morning gives the greatest relief and flexibility.

Hi. I write the day/date I start a new box on the front then at least I can count back and see whether I've taken that dose or not.x
