I just can not for the life of me remember if i took my 25mg pred this morning, i was fiddling around with the packets to make sure i have enough for holiday - leaving at 4am. So now, do i wait and see if i start feeling weird (normal) or takesome more and feel weird, or just take 10 or something to be safe? Any advice pls? Thanks. Jane

Honestly don't know - but go and get yourself a weekly dosette box to stop it happening again. Set aside a specific time when you will be sure of being quiet and not distracted and fill them up!

At that dose I'd have been fine for 2 days but in your place I would take at least 10mg, possibly later if you feel any symptoms returning, since you are travelling tomorrow and you don't want to be in a state for that in the morning do you?

Lots of us find we are OK before 4.30 which is when the new lot of inflammatory substances is shed. It is after that that the stiffness starts.

Wehn you were reducing, at what dose did the symptoms return?

In that case I would take 10mg now and tomorrow's dose when you get up. You were back at 30mg for a week, that'll just take you slightly above it and you will be sure to be OK in the morning whatever you took this morning.

Dosette box and set an alarm on your phone!!!!!!!

It isn't because you are old - purely for convenience! And it means you can just stick the box in your bag when you go out - I go nowhere without the rest of the day's doses with me. If we are away overnight I take the lot for a week - you never know!!!!

It’s a lot to double dose on. I think I’d wait and if I began to feel all aches and pains and out of sorts, I would assume that I hadn’t taken it. Either way you might be wakeful tonight. A double dose won’t hurt you, but it will affect you. On the other hand, extra may insulate you from the rigours of plane travel. Your getting up time might be ideal for taking 25 mgs.
