Cold virus thing

Has anyone else been suffering this cold virus going around? Not covid but makes you feel rotten. Had it for about 8 days now - sick of it 😩

My sister had the bad cold. I suggested she check for Covid and Voila!! Then her husband got Covid too.

The tests are very hit or miss with the newer versions of Covid - my daughter had to test for 5 days before she got a positive by thinking to open a new pack and then the new pack one was positive, the old one negative!

Yes I agree. I’ve done another one this morning and still negative.

Yes, both me and my partner have had it, very nasty. I was up in the middle of the night with my head over a bowl of steaming water as I couldn't breathe! Only lasted 4/5 days for me though. Definitely not covid we both tested

Yep! I had it and felt rough for 2 weeks. It really took a hold on me and affected my ears too. Coughed like a miner for about 3 weeks. All cleared up now thankfully. Hope you feel better soon x

Yes! My ears - sinus and chest! Now on antibiotics. Glad you’ve recovered.

I thought I had a cold and in the back of my nose felt blocked and painful although paracetamol helped Then my partner started to feel ill and asked me to get some COVID tests.

Both of us were positive and my partner felt really ill.

I know I got it first and passed it on but I never felt that ill.

Feeling guilty I guess

The first time I got COVID again I didn't feel.too ill so it does hit people differently.

Always best to do the test although ,£9 for a box of 5 it sent cheap.

My wife and I have both had a nasty head cold, which then became a tickly, chesty cough with yellow phlegm. Not flu or covid: we remained active throughout. It's into its third week, now!
