Probably don't have a lot of choice as you've left it so late.... what happened to all our advice over the years about pacing yourself and delegating before big events 😏..🤣😂 naughty girl.!.

Hope you have a lovely day... and slip in a few rests when required...🌸

weddings don’t happen often so if it were me, I’d be wondering about 10mg on the day. However, your feeling it all over, may just be you’ve over done it rather than PMR and extra Pred may not help that. Even with 10mg you’ll probably still need to pace yourself but I’m probably wasting my typing on that topic 😉

Well I would!!! Have a lovely day and leave everything you can to someone else - like I did when my daughter got married!

Hi there,

My son got married last Oct and I increased my dose by 5mg the day before the wedding, the day of the wedding and the day after the wedding. (With the blessing of my rheumatologist)

Worked like a dream and I had one of the most fantastic days of my life.

Have a wonderful day and good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I increased my pred by 1mg the day before, of, and after my son’s wedding last fall (and a few years ago at my 2nd husband’s son’s wedding)

It was certainly worth it…even that small extra single mg of pred ensured I enjoyed the special day.
