I think its main ingredients are glucosamine and capsicum, both of which help.

I had this email today which I think I might give a miss!!!

Imagine getting a complete joint replacement without surgery.

Believe it or not, this is the new reality for THOUSANDS of former arthritis sufferers...

Thanks to Ivy League research that replaces old, tired, worn-out joints without even breaking the skin...

Using this weird "jelly" discovered in a tiny remote Japanese village.

Hmm, does sound too good to be true!! However you could be "brave" and be a guinea pig(lette) for the rest of us.

Of course the downside is that it may cost you thousands of pounds and then not work and then I discover it is a scam!!

I have to admit, whatever my tongue in cheek post to Piglette, that I have never yet found any gel that had any positive effect on my OA at all. But, as we say, if it works for you then that is all that matters. (I know it's naughty starting a sentence with But!!).

Thank you ladies. Since taking felodipine whic caused tree trunk ankles I am anti drugs so a cream that reduces the pain in my book is worth using. Also find the Chinese ointment good especially for OA f8ngers. My grandmother had a condition where trapezium and scaphoid fuse necessitating an op under injection but ten years on pain reigns. The Chinese ointment is tiger balm

I for many years would you a plaster Japanese called solanpas but it now seems to have been discontinued.

If I got a shooting pain in finger and a bulge I would wrap a piece around the joint then use plaster or sellotape and keep it on for 24 hours and pain and bulge disappeared. Don’t seem to have tat sort of OA now…. It’s different and more at side of thumb and wrist areas….
