sickness and pred

I’ve been awfully sick this morning, probably related to anti biotics I’m taking for UTI. not sure when to take pred. Any advice?

When you can keep a small amount of water down successfully… just try sipping it and see if okay - then take just enough to get the Pred taken.

If you CAN'T keep the pred down for at least an hour, you may need to get your GP to help, either with antiemetics or a hydrocortisone shot.

Thanks Pro, I managed to keep things down, so all ok. Feeling delicate but hopefully worst is over.

I found that if I ate two dry biscuits about half an hour before the antibiotics that made me sick, & had a drink, then I was just a bit nauseous & not actually sick!!

If it's ongoing, I got round the sickness caused by antibiotics by taking an anti emetic, which the GP prescribed.
