Yes its TRUE!! I dance again, albeit wobbly and not for long, with fellow dancers not realising the enormity of the situation!!! It was party time and "Is this the way to Amarillo" beckoned on the dance floor!!! Up I went and was thrilled to bits to be strutting my stuff !!! Slept until 11am the following day and 9am this morning, otherwise feel good, although still aware I am pacing myself, on 7mg now and coming to terms with ups and downs, with the majority improvement TELLING PEOPLE about polymyalgia. After one person asked me " Whats that stupid name thing of what you've got C ?????!!!!!!" I kept VERY CALM and then I told them - they went on to buy me a coffee!!. Enough said!!!

Oh those βI can still do itβ moments are precious. I know what you mean with the lack of fanfare for these small but significant steps. At the very least you needed a full backing troupe, with a glitter shower and a rosette at the end. Quiet internal celebration has to suffice.
Well done you! π

Hooray! Must be so joyful to get back to dance and I celebrate with you. Not without a touch of envy though, but I feel inspired to give it a go again, reading your post.
Well done UnicornDancer. Proud of you!πͺ·
