Following on from my post earlier today the GP rang and said if I was worried about the risks she would happily sign me off work for a week. I decided to go as they are short staffed and I would have felt bad letting them down and Doctor said if I decide it’s too risky later to phone and she’ll sign me off. I wore my mask all the time I was there and luckily wasn’t in close contact with anyone who had Covid so hopefully I’ll be ok. Many thanks to all those who replied to my earlier post.

I hope your employer is appreciative of your dedication and they are aware of the position that you are in and say thank you.
Well done to you, are you having the vaccination soon?
Yes, it was already booked for this Saturday
I am having my flu and Covid jabs on Saturday morning
Hope all goes well and you don’t have any bad reactions to them
Thankyou. I am having them both together which I haven’t done before but 12 days later we are flying to Australia for 3 weeks so happy to have them before boarding the plane. Not much to do before then other than pack etc so can relax after jabs.
Hope yours go well with no after effects
