hi just wondering if anyone else has the same issue. I have no sensation to touch from the top of my left outer thigh down to my knee. I have an awful burning sensation at times in this area and it’s very painful to lean on that side.
I have spoken about it to my GP and he says it’s bursitis but my Rhumy says it’s my RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS ,just wondering if anyone has a opinion on this thank you

Interesting. I have had that mild numbness, no tingling, in my right leg for years, long before I started on Prednisone. Doc said it was probably a pinched nerve that would resolve itself in time. It's been years, it has never resolved, but it's so minor that I ignore it and chalk it up to one more sign that I am at that stage in life's flight that I realize that it's time to return the seat to it's upright position and stow the tray in the seatback in front of me. :-))
yes, I get it in one or both outer thighs on standing, walking or lying in certain positions. Started about a year or so before my PMR/ vasculitis diagnoses. Am pretty sure it is MP as detailed above and likely to be due to nerve impingement. It’s a really specific and clear pattern in those hip to knee symptoms. I’ve also just got used to it now 🙂
