"Many hospitals, GP practices and clinical teams work with Patients Know Best to provide their patients with access to a patient-controlled health record. See the map below for details.

If one of your healthcare providers work with PKB they will create a record for you and send you information on how to register to take ownership of the record. If you have received an invitation click here for details on registering. "

Since the NHS is not at its best at the moment, could be worth checking whether your medical team (s) are signed up to this and it hasn't filtered through to you or indeed asking them to sign up.

Normal results appear immediately. Abnormal results appear after they've been seen by a medic.

Sounds a bit like Patient Access which my surgery uses.

just looked up my local hospital trust on link [for interest] and it comes up with an address in a completely different part of the UK!. Not sure I shall investigate further… 🤔

Ah, yes, hmm. I once asked the Evri site for the location of my nearest parcel shop. It confidently produced a list of addresses in France and even a map of Normandy.

this gave me a very good laugh this morning thank you although I realise it’s not your intention.

‘ASK’ your surgery...... firstly I takes on average 45 minutes hold time to reach the operator who is usually a temporary who knows nothing. Secondly, calls are only permitted during a few set hours dedication to either results or appointments, no other topics. Thirdly visits to the surgery in person are not permitted without an appointment and as they only do telephone appointments it’s a closed shop.

Finally, I had a look at their website which says it’s closed over Christmas!

I suppose you have to laugh - otherwise you'd cry!

Feel all guilty and apologetic. I can message my practice through their site. Reply within two working days promised.

Mine too - but fortunately don’t need it as often as I did. ..and it’s in the village, so only a 6-7 min walk.

No need for you to apologise- it is what it is…
