Greetings Polymalingerers and others here who are Bonkers enough to follow my Ramblings (or is it Rantings..?!).
Just a 'quick one' to say a big Thank You for your (if slightly reckless) early requests and pre-orders for 'Write Me Funny - Ramblings on The Lighter Side.. etc' prior to the imminent PMRGCAuk Winter Newswire and promotional link to my New Book website - which should all be 'live' next week.
But if you can't wait for the Newswire and / or are Bonkers enough to want to place your book order in time for pre-Christmas delivery, please get in touch with me at:
mark@writemefunny.co.uk
or via a Private Message here with your contact details, and I'll send more details and information about alternative ordering and payment methods (including Carrier Pigeon, IOUs, Bitcoins, Drone Landings, Payment in Kind, Extended Credit over 20 years etc - only joking..!).
And remember: in buying my Little Book of Silliness you will also be making a modest but valuable financial contribution to the great work done by PMRGCAuk at the same time as (hopefully) having a giggle or two.
'Result', or what?!
Best wishes from a 'fellow' Polymalingerer, and looking forward to hearing from you.

Available for us 🇺🇸 followers and fans too right Mr. Mark? Can't wait .... Thank you for all of your hard work effort and determination to bring this to us - you are our PMR hero! Cheers to you 👍🍷and a Merry Merry too!
Congrats Mark... can't wait to get my copy!!! I do have some special shipping instructions. I tried using my Amazon Prime but they said it wouldn't work for free shipping in this case.
Living in the British colony across the pond this was the best alternative...
Firstly you will need to look up the sailing vessel "Nonsuch". My understanding is that she is built for sailing the icey waters and should have no problems navigating the St. Lawrence seaway into Montreal during the winter months.
Upon arrival in Montreal, the Captain will need to find a guy named Jacques, he is a well know Coureur de Bois. There are many Jacques in the city so it should not be too difficult. Jacques has agreed to carry the parcel from Montreal to Fort York located in the city of Toronto.
Once at Fort York, Jacques has a friend who is a Voyageur for the Hudson Bay Company. Anthony, his friend, has agreed to make the final leg of the journey around the Great Lakes, across the Great Prairies into the foothills of the Rocky Mountain. Anthony will drop the package at Fort Calgary, on the Bow River. Anthony will continue his journey north to Edmonton from there. Fort Calgary has agreed to hold the package until the spring thaw, at which time I will be able to navigate the Bow in my canoe.
I hope this does not cause you any inconvenience! For me it is worth it because I'm sure it is a great read...
Wow, thanks - my second book order from across the Pond! Sorry you can't get the book via Amazon (or as an e.book yet), but I discovered that it's all a bit complicated to sell it that way for small quantities. If it becomes a Best Seller, I'll review things (as if, ha ha!).
Ok, I'll do my best to get a copy of the book to you in Calgary: the logistics sound intriguing!
First, can you send me your e.mail address and other contact info, either by Private Message here or by dropping an e.mail to me at mark@writemefunny.co.uk Then, I'll send you pricing, payment methods and other info about the book. Then, if you want to go ahead, I'll get busy from my side re. the shipping instructions. Does that sound ok?
That would be awesome... figure a 7.5hr flight from England to Toronto. You can rent a car at the airport and make the 35hr drive to Calgary. Or, if you prefer you can fly. Then it's only 4hrs YYZ - YYC...
Wow! And I thought driving the 700 miles from the UK's South West to the Scottish Highlands in 8 hours (at night, in a fast Mercedes) was a long-enough haul!
Well, Insight, I quite like that idea as I don't get out so often since I've had PMR - and I would love to meet some of You Lot across the Pond!
The only problem is in finding enough US $ dollars to make the round trip, and to make the most of my first-ever (book signing?) visit to the USA and Canada pay for itself!
I just Googled to see how many books you'd have to sell:
"Three thousand books sold would get you on The Wall Street Journal bestseller list. Eleven thousand would secure a spot on the biggest prize of them all, The New York Times list."
Wow! 3000 sales over time would keep at least me going in my slightly naughty but insatiable appetite for red wine (dry, of course), exotic cars and fags (i.e. cigarettes) for a while - AND (more important!) give a big boost to PMRGCAuk at the same time. Result, or what?!
As for eleven thousand books sold...(as if..) ?! But I'm up for the happy task of signing them if necessary :-). I can cope with the PR and 'Meeja' response. - I have previous form for this type of thing
Hiya, to another batty person, but then i'm just an old English girl, or Lancashire lass as they say up here! writing books sounds fun & a great get out, my own way is painting or drawing silly, fictional characters! in shape of dwarfs, & elves. Fiction or what? Have a great day!
Hi, I am afraid this message is a very old post. If you would like to introduce your Iin a new thread you will find there are few artists and creative peoplr
