Hi all,had a fall at weekend and broke collarbone, should I continue with reduction of pred or stay at the same for a week or 2xx

My first port of call would be the FAQ section and read up on sick-day rules.

I would stay exactly where you are and wait and see because a change of circumstances puts your body into overdrive and with PMR you never know how you will react to what happens.

Certainly no reduction, but maybe look at info on SDR and Flares -

I'd stick at the same dose until the pain is greatly improved and the healing is well advanced.

And next time - take more gin with it!!! Apparently you fall better after alcohol ;)

You go down more relaxed it is said. And you probably don't stick your hand out to "save" yourself - which is where a lot of damage is done to forearms and shoulders.

Read years ago babies and drunks don't get serio usly hurt if they fall down the stairs.......can only think it's because they are more floppy!

Yes but if you other half falls on top of you you've had it,like me,and he was fine,all to do with my daughter's new steps,she's so up set,I should have had more wine.lol

Take care , relax and allow yourself to heal , it may take more time to get better than it used to so keeping on your current dose until you are properly improved would be my advice.
