Hello All PMR’s - A friend has mentioned Cannary CBD oil for pain relief, just wondered if anyone has experience of any CBD and if it helped ? ❤️

If you look at the related posts (to the top right on a computer, not sure where on anything else) you will find links to past posts asking the same question.

But to summarise: it may well help for other things experienced with PMR and pred such as poor sleep and anxiety, but it doesn't appear to have much effect on the symptoms of PMR itself. Some people find it does nothing.

I was told it was not compatible with steroids!!! I rang the suppliers….

It may potentiate the effects - so COULD act as a steroid sparer by increasing the desired effects BUT could make the adverse effects worse.

I bought some cannaray gummies from Amazon with great hope of a break through in the relentless challenge of tapering prednisolone. The verdict is still out on their effect on sleep but I have managed to taper from 7.5 to 7mg so I am feeling some benefit. And they are very tasty orange jellies. Worth a try I think.

I've tried it on my painful feet (OA)- no improvement whatsoever. Wallet slightly smaller though.

I've started back on my CBD oil. I found it didn't mix well with Prednisone, when I was on the 20 mg. So far, all it's helped is my mood and that's a good thing.

I have had trouble sleeping, I have restless leg, and numbness in my right foot from back surgery. I am 73 and on 5 mg Prednisone, I take 5 mg CBD with THC gummy’s and I sleep sound.

maybe I’ll give it another try. My daughter was disappointed I was told not to take whilst on steroids.. can only try!
